GLENN ORGIAS
Glenn Orgias is a writer based in Sydney. His debut crime novel, TEETH KICKER, will be published by HarperCollins in September 2026.
In 2009, while surfing at Bondi Beach, he survived an unfortunate encounter with a Great White shark that resulted in the loss of his left arm. His memoir MAN IN A GREY SUIT (Penguin, 2012), is described as a powerful memoir of personal restoration, recounting the aftermath of shark attack with honesty, dark humour, and a deep respect for the ocean.
Glenn's short fiction often features the weird, the wounded, and people who laugh when they shouldn’t. His work has appeared in many literary journals including SmokeLong Quarterly, Wigleaf, Pithead Chapel. In 2024, he was nominated for both Best Small Fictions and the Pushcart Prize.
When he’s not working or writing, Glenn can be found out the back in the surf or spending time with his wife, two daughters and their forty-kilo Ridgeback.
